ARF Web Site Credits

The current ARF website is being updated and maintained by Nico Tripcevich.  The original ARF web pages, including text and graphics, were created by Lisa Holm.

Photos on the main page are from Kent Lightfoot, Sonya Suponcic, and from Robert Heizer's Field School excavations in Contra Costa County in the early 1950's.  Another of the Heizer Field School photos appears on the Field Opportunities page.  The picture of the 2251 College Building on the Mission Statement page is by Lisa Holm.

The blue and white pictograph logo is a Polynesian rock art design from the Marquesas Islands, and was brought to us by Sidsel Millerstrom.  It also appears on the official ARF hat, available for purchase.

All of the cave-painting designs (bovine-like creatures, hand prints, etc.) are taken from the back wall of the atrium in ARF headquarters, and are ultimately derived from French Paleolithic caves.  The original cave painting graphics were made by Lisa Holm, and later modified by Dennis Ogburn.

The Pomo basket design is by Otis Parrish.  It's also currently available as an ARF t-shirt.

The choice of the cheddar cheese background color can be blamed on Donna Lanclos.  If it does not look like cheddar cheese to you, there is probably something wrong with your computer, or you are from the northeast.

This design is from a sculpture at the site of Chiripa in Bolivia.  It was also once featured on one of our t-shirts, but alas, those are no longer available.  I don't even known if this image is currently in use on one of our pages, but it used to be, and it might be again.

It may be safe to assume that all other graphics on these pages were created by Dennis Ogburn, except for a few remaining images created by Lisa Holm.

The Outreach Page was mostly created by Zoe Burkholder.
